Hometown news: My alma mater, Rolla High School, will enter into a new 11-man football co-op with Rock Lake, Rolette and Wolford. Previously Rolla-Rock Lake was a nine-man co-op whose archrival just happened to be Rolette-Wolford. At least that’s the way it was back when I was in school. A while ago. 🙂

The new team name that has been selected is “North Prairie Cougars.” I think it’s a great name and mascot and A LOT better than saying R-RL-R-W. So…go Cougars! (And for everything else, go Bulldogs!)
