The past week was a blur. We’ve spent the last week tearing off old wallpaper in our kitchen and preparing it for painting. Mom, dad, and Bev are paint the kitchen area and replacing the hardware. Saturday mom, dad, Erin, and I went up to Rolla to visit Jean and to the lake cabin. Despite some minor problems and very cool weather we had a relaxing time at the cabin.

Students and faculty are returning to the campuses. Next week I start my final semester in Graduate School… I’m looking forward to finishing in December.

Today is a special day for a few people. Our friends in Virginia, Steve & Anne, become homeowners today! And today is dad’s birthday!! He always says he’s 19, but he’s WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY over that. =-) Happy Birthday!
