Our big kitchen project is finally finished.  Over the past two weeks we stripped the old wallpaper off and repainted everything.  This included putting a new layer of primer and using two colors.  In addition, we replaced the cabinet hardware with brass hinges and knobs.  Mom, dad, Bev, and Curt spent considerable time in our kitchen painting, taping, and cleaning up.  We thank them a lot.  Our kitchen now looks much brighter and friendlier.

This week classes start up in Valley City, so I have been very busy with the normal chaos.  It is also the start of my last semester in graduate school.  I will be very happy when this semester is done, it has been a lot of work.

Bev was up visiting during the past week, and Curt came over from Bismarck.  Curt starts a new job tomorrow (8/20).  I help haul a big swingset for the Mayhairs yesterday.
