Frightening day

Yesterday was a very tough day on all of us. Dad got a frantic phone call stating Curt was injured at work and it was bad. Curt and a co-worker were working on a 4-wheel drive tractor, changing tires. Curt was getting the jacks set in place and his co-worker went to put the tractor in neutral. Unfortunately the tractor was in reverse when his co-worker turned the key. The tractor ran over Curt head to toe. He required plastic surgery to repair his mouth and left cheek. Thankfully, there were no broken bones or internal injuries. He is badly bruised and in extreme pain. Julie, Sam, Mom, Dad, and myself went to Bismarck as soon as we could. Mom & Dad brought him back to Valley City to watch him. He has blood in one of his lungs and cannot drive for a while. Bev arrived from Rochester last night to help take care of Curt for a few days. We will keep everyone posted, thank you for the prayers… he will still need them. God was watching Curt yesterday, and we are thankful.
