Today is Martin Luther King day, which means I have the day off and it’s time for Nubs’ annual Veterinarian visit. The hunt was on… The Human Society gave us some pointers on getting kitty in her cage without harming her or us. That meant having the cage out for a day and waiting for the purrfect moment. She saw the cage and knew what was coming, she was watching me closely all day. I had to wait until she couldn’t see the blanket nearby. I quickly wrapped her up and we headed out. Nubs meows a little on the trip, but it’s just like bringing us humans to see a doctor. Nubs did very well and is very happy to be back home resting. She knows next Martin Luther King Jr. day, she will have to visit the vet. But that is another year (or seven in her case) away!
