The last thing I expected to hear in one of the commercials during tonight’s “big game” was the sound of an oboe, let alone the sound of an oboe being played by a big, tough NFL’er, but I was pleasantly surprised! A player for the Houston Texans happens to also play the greatest instrument in the world. I guess oboists come in all shapes and sizes!

We started orchestra last week and are preparing for a couple of April performances. We will be playing in both Jamestown and Valley City.
