Well, this last week winter kept messing up the forecast. The forecast made it look like a very nice week. Instead we got a blizzard, lots of wind, and more snow. It was typical North Dakota weather in that we had a few really nice days. In fact, Saturday it was so warm we got rain… no not freezing rain, actual rain. Sunday the Canadians got revenge and sent us some cold weather. I think the Canadians are so mad they haven’t won a Stanley Cup for a while, so they send us cold weather.

Today is Presidents’ Day and I have the day off (Erin doesn’t though). So I am honoring our Presidents’ by doing some work at home. There are some things I do not mind working on at home. There are so fewer distractions at home… although the purring kitty likes to halt all progress often.

Speaking of Nubs, she has a problem with tails. Since she doesn’t have a tail, she rips the tails off all of her toys. There is one mouse left (out of a dozen) that has a tail. A friend of our’s believes she suffers from “tail envy.” =-)
