Wow, where to begin… It has been a busy few weeks. Erin and I kicked off June by going kayaking. The water was very cold, but it felt great to be out there. We hope to have time this weekend to hit the water again. Mom & Dad celebrated 40 years of marriage on June 8th! Then mom followed by celebrating her big birthday on the 12th. We held a nice party/BBQ with some family and friends at Julie’s house. Bev came up from Rochester to celebrate with us. The weather didn’t cooperate fully, but we did enjoy stuffing ourselves.

On June 14, I decided it was time to take care of the deck. I started tearing off the old deck boards and preparing to rebuilding the deck. It’s a project I’ve spent most of my evenings working on. Last Sunday (June 15), we took a trip to Aberdeen with the Mayhairs and mom & dad. We had a fun time visiting the Storybook Land amusement park and playing some mini-golf.

Erin and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary this weekend… yes five years have flown by that fast. We are going to check out Medora this weekend and be back in time for a friend’s wedding.
