Da DA da da, the wedding day! We got to the church for photos on a very warm and muggy morning. The wedding was lovely, and Dave did a very nice job of walking slowly. Steve and Anne had three special readings from friends/family. We sang the hymn “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee,” and you can never go wrong with that one. The reception was in a nice space adjacent to the church. By mid-afternoon, the bride and groom had left for their Honeymoon trip, and we hopped in the cab to go back to the hotel and change out of our dressy clothes. We took it easy the rest of Saturday.
