Vacation Recap, Day 5

Going-home day! We had to be at the airport by 6:30 a.m. The check-in line and security line were both fairly long but we had plenty of time. On the flight between DC and Minneapolis, a young sister and brother sat behind us (probably around ages 8 and 7), flying without their parents, on their way to see their grandparents, and they talked the WHOLE time. We both thought they were pretty funny and the guy sitting next to them was a good sport. In Minneapolis we had just enough time for a quick lunch and then it was the home stretch to Jamestown (with a quick stop in Brainerd). It was a great feeling to get home to our own home (rather than a hotel), our kitty of course, and the everyday routine like driving our cars (rather than riding in cabs) and getting groceries (rather than going out to eat constantly). It was a great trip, and congratulations to the newlyweds Steve and Anne!
