Erin and I spent a perfect weekend kayaking at her family’s lake cabin last weekend. We spent some time just relaxing on the cabin deck and nearly 4 hours out on the water kayaking. It was a lot of fun to try some different waters. We noticed the lakes around here are harder.

We got plenty of visiting time with Erin’s mom, and she took us around to see the tornado destruction in Rolla. The Rolla community has done an excellent job cleaning up and moving on from the tornado.

Hopefully the hot forecast holds for the weekend, as we want to hop in our kayaks once again and enjoy the waters.
