Here we are a week after my last post. Things are a little better in Valley City. Businesses are open again – although with limited sewer and water use. Mom & Dad are back in their house conserving water and getting used to life with port-a-potties. We continue hosting the Mayhair bunch at our house. The water is still rising by their house, so we aren’t sure when the river will level-off there. That’s okay, we’re enjoying having them here… and Shiloh has become a neighborhood attraction. Everyone is used to her howling, now she bosses the neighbor dogs, and runs around in the backyard. The neighborhood kids stop by and visit with here. While I write this, we are getting some rain, and expecting some snow later. Yeah, that’s right snow.
