Well, like usual the project required a lot more work than we thought. That’s okay, we got to use some tools and supplies that we hadn’t in a long time. Curt and I got the steps in last Sunday and Monday. Everything worked out nicely, now just a few adjustments. We put two coats of stain and sealer on them to protect and shine for a while. This morning Tom and I hauled the old stuff to the dump. We were really surprised how much we did tear out for this project. Tom and I did some sheetrocking. Tom worked on a few other things while I painted. This evening Curt and Kasey joined in and helped set the new posts (newells) for the upper level. Things are going to look really nice. Hopefully, we can post some pictures soon of our progress.
