Frost Fire experience

Erin and I traveled up to Cavalier, Bathgate, and Walhalla last weekend. We made the trek to visit friends, explore Icelandic State Park, check on the towns, and see “Fiddler on the Roof” at Frost Fire. I never had the chance to see the productions when we lived in that area, so it was a new experience for me as well. It was a fantastic show. The outdoor theater is fun and provides a lively atmosphere. Erin really enjoyed watching the production. (She played instruments in the campus production.)

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Walhalla region and Icelandic State Park. It was nice to visit some of the family’s favorite northern valley sites. Erin and I scoped out some kayaking areas. We had some fun visiting friends in the area. In addition, we traveled through Grand Forks and saw Grandma and Larry for a while.

This weekend is the last shows, if you can make it for the 25th anniversary production, it is well worth the trip. We will be planning to visit the area again for next year’s production, and the kayaks will come with us.
