This morning Erin and I put the Christmas trees up. Every year Nubs tries to explore the larger Christmas tree. This year she didn’t even wait until we added all of the branches. I had the lower section and the middle pole up, and Nubs tried to climb the tree. Last year we added some “fake” gifts to keep Nubs away from the base. Those gifts are back again, but this is a new year… and too early in the competition of Nubs vs. Tree.

Update: We got the tree up and decorated. Nubs didn’t even wait for us to leave the room. Despite new efforts, Nubs is winning the battle.
