We’re back after a fun trip to MN to see Stephanie, Lee, Kylee and Kody. Time to catch up on the Olympics. The men’s free skate on Thursday night had its share of stumbles, but Evan Lysacek’s Gold-winning routine was excellent. Tonight is original dance night for ice dancing and I’m out of the loop as far as who’s in the lead, who is the couple to beat, etc. I just watched the US couple Samuelson/Bates and they did a very nice job with their original dance with a country-western theme. Free dance and medals tomorrow! Then it will be ladies’ figure skating, my personal fave. Now the new event, ski cross, is on. Looks like a neat and fast-paced competition. Later!
