It’s Ladies Free Skate night but I might not stay awake for it. Vancouver is two hours behind Jamestown time (how dare they) and I can only stay up until past 11 so many weeknights before it catches up with me. The Gold might be a forgone conclusion unless South Korea’s Kim Yu-Na has a nightmarish free skate. But there is still plenty of suspense with that last group of skaters, which includes the two Americans and Canadian Joannie Rochette who is skating through the grief of losing her mom just the other day. It’s almost 8:30 now and they’re probably still a good hour away from even warming up. I may have to just check out the replays online over the weekend. Later!
