I have never realized how much I bend down in the course of the day until the last week or so. Putting on shoes. Feeding Nubs. Picking something up from the floor. It’s much more noticeable with this round baby bump out front! But the bump’s days are numbered and we’ll soon be holding our little guy/gal. Just a few more weeks!
My baby shower was on the 12th (day before Mother’s Day!) and it was a very nice time. We are blessed with wonderful generous family and friends. Then this past weekend, Stephanie, Kylee and Kody paid a visit.
Sunday afternoon, Dave and I picked out flowers for our flowerbed and planters, and Brianna helped get them planted (less bending for me!). We usually don’t get this task out of the way until Memorial Day weekend, so we’re a week ahead. Impatiens and geraniums always do well, so we have some of those, plus begonias, pansies, and others whose names escape me.
Something I didn’t do this weekend? See that new movie that’s out about pregnancy based on that well-known book of the same title. The books are good (I’ve been reading the “first year” one lately) and the web site has lots of relevant info, but in seeing the previews, I get the feeling that I would be offended and/or stressed out if I saw it. Maybe we’ll rent it after it’s out on DVD…at least then it can’t stress me out about labor and delivery!
