Aunt Vi went to heaven on Friday. Vi was always there for us. She loved to visit and be with people. Uncle Stan left us in 2006, and she knew one day they would reunited in heaven.

One of my strongest memories is when mom & I came to VC to clean the house before we moved. It was a nasty place. Vi had us come over and get cleaned up, then she treated mom & I to Hardees.

As kids we always looked forward to seeing Vi & Stan in Valley City. I even called them once during a high school basketball game.

We know Vi is with Stan in heaven, watching over Valley City.
