Remembering Rebel

We want to thank all of you for your kind words and support and for the help with the vet bills for our Rebel. It is incredibly hard to let go!!!

Rebel gave us nearly 16 years of her love and dedication. We hope she felt as loved by us as we did by her.

As we see other pets in the family, i.e., Tonks, Shiloh, Nubs, and Jack all aging …. We know that some day ….. Oh, gosh, it is so hard!

The last few days watching Rebs lose weight, get less and less active, eat almost nothing, begin losing kidney function and control some of the time, and very very labored breathing ….. Today we knew it was time.

If we make it to heaven, we know if we suddenly feel a little head but, it will be our Rebs. She not only did that for greetings and for affection, it was to wake me up when the week end Fargo Forum came, something was different outside she saw, or she just want to say hi–“I’m here, looking for just a bit of love and attention.”

She was the only kitty I’ve ever known that did the head but thing, and the only one, too, that shook the end of her tail when she was getting petted and was purring.

May Rebs be resting in peace–pain free!!

Again, thank you all so very very much!
